A decayed remnant of the long-dead, the Zombie is one of the most common yet persistent threats within the tunnels of Planet Eternity. These unarmored, weaponless creatures stagger forward with an unnatural hunger, seeking to grasp, crush, and consume anything living. While slow-moving, they are relentless and difficult to stop unless struck in the right place.
Zombies lack intelligence, attacking purely on instinct. Their decaying bodies are fragile, and limbs can be severed, reducing their ability to attack. A Zombie with one arm removed can still attempt to grab, while one with both arms missing becomes harmless but continues to shuffle forward, driven by dark energy. Those who lose their legs are reduced to a crawling state, still attempting to drag themselves toward their target.
Despite their grotesque resilience, Zombies have a critical weakness—they are highly vulnerable to headshots. Destroying the head instantly ends their unnatural existence, making precision attacks the most efficient way to eliminate them.
Combat Style & Attacks[edit | edit source]
- One-Arm Grab: Reaches out to latch onto an opponent, attempting to hold them in place.
- Two-Arm Hug: Lunges forward for a crushing grasp, trapping victims in a grotesque embrace.
Weaknesses[edit | edit source]
- Limb Severing: Removing arms disables attacks; removing legs forces them to crawl.
- Headshots: A direct blow to the head is the fastest way to kill a Zombie.
While a single Zombie poses little threat, they often attack in swarms, overwhelming opponents with sheer numbers. Adventurers should be cautious—these creatures may be slow, but in the tight, winding tunnels of Planet Eternity, there’s nowhere to run when they come in hordes.
