Blobs are critters that slide around and can jump sticking themselves to your body.

The Blob is a squishy, gelatinous creature that slides across the stone floors of Planet Eternity’s dungeons in eerie silence. Its amorphous body ripples with toxic fluid, glowing faintly with an unnatural hue—usually green, though color can vary depending on its elemental mutation and toughness. Classified as a Critter, the Blob is small and seemingly harmless at first glance, but its attacks can quickly disorient and damage the unwary.

Blobs are generally poisonous, secreting a corrosive slime that can sting or burn flesh on contact. Some are less toxic but make up for it by hitting with surprising force, often using the weight of their dense, semi-solid form to impact with players directly.

Blobs are believed to be the result of arcane contamination or failed magical experiments that seeped into the sludge in Vilehalls Realm and became semi-sentient.

While not the deadliest creature in the tunnels, the Blob’s unsettling behavior and disorienting attacks make it a threat players cannot afford to ignore.

Behavior

  • Slides steadily across dungeon floors, moving silently but persistently toward players.
  • When close enough, it attacks simply by touching the player with its stinging outer membrane.
  • Has the ability to leap onto a player’s face, temporarily obscuring vision, causing damage and confusion.

Combat Tips

  • Keep moving—Blobs are slow but relentless.
  • Use ranged attacks to avoid contact.
  • If leapt on, hit the blob with your weapon.

Strategy

They are low to the ground and can take some skill to kill at range. Throw a weapon flat horizontal to the ground to get a good chance to hit them
