The Lavaforge Realm is a scorching subterranean biome beneath the crust of Planet Eternity, marked red on the dungeon map. This realm pulses with volcanic fury—its passages veined with rivers of molten rock, cavernous heat wells, and ruined forges once used to channel arcane fire into weaponry and war machines. The terrain is cracked and fractured, as if the very earth is on the brink of collapse.
Massive iron gates, scorched antechambers, and towering magma furnaces suggest the realm was once a manufacturing heart—a colossal forge powered by Eternity’s molten blood. Now, it is overrun with unstable magic, elemental chaos, and fire-blooded monstrosities that stalk the tunnels like guardians of some infernal purpose.
The very air burns with intensity. Without proper protection, extended exposure can singe flesh, warp weapons, and blind unshielded optics.
Lore & Theories
Ruins within the Lavaforge bear the sigils of an ancient faction known only as the Ashbound, believed to have once tapped Eternity’s planetary core for magical weapon forging. These remnants include lava-forged armor, obsidian statues, and charred scrolls etched with fire-glyphs.
Scholars speculate that the Ashbound attempted to create living constructs of flame, or perhaps even merge with elemental fire itself. If true, their descendants—or their creations—may still roam the deepest parts of the realm, trapped in perpetual combustion.
A few surviving tablets speak of a failed ritual known as the Molten Binding, a last attempt to control what they had unleashed. Whether the Ashbound succeeded or perished in the blaze is unknown—but something survived.
Known Enemy Types
The Lavaforge Realm is teeming with fire-based enemies, explosive variants, and fast-charging melee foes. Many are immune to burn damage and benefit from the infernal terrain.
Imps
Hellspawn that thrive in fire and love the chaos of this biome.
- Imp Minion – Rushes with machetes; often leap from ledges or lava platforms.
- Imp Ranged – Dual hatchets thrown with explosive arc trails.
- Imp Kamikaze – The ultimate threat: carrying volatile bomb-potions, they explode on contact or self-detonate. Found in higher concentrations here.
Lost Soul
- Lost Soul – Flaming horned skulls that shriek and detonate near players. In Lavaforge, they sometimes erupt in chain reactions when clustered.
Octoculodes
Some fire-altered floating horrors have adapted to the heat.
- Blind Octoculus – Uses echolocation. Fireballs it emits take on a molten effect here.
- Octoculus – Attacks with fire from the mouth, with floating eye support.
- Octoculus Boss – Elite form, usually found near lava crucibles or sunken shrines.
Undead
Surprisingly, many skeletal forms persist in this realm—charred, but animated.
- Skeleton Minion / Warrior / Archer – Often scorched, with brittle bones and molten weaponry.
- Skeleton Mage – Wields fireball staves that blend with the natural hazards.
- Skeleton Boss – Imposing, heat-resistant, and often resides in the realm’s deeper forges.
- Zombie – Occasionally ignited and explosive in death, these burn-walkers pose a volatile threat.
Others
- The Doomer – Sometimes explodes upon death—particularly dangerous in tight lava-ringed zones.
- Golem – Heat-hardened, these behemoths appear to have absorbed some volcanic ore.
- Uber Mage – A teleporting boss-class sorcerer, perfectly suited for this realm’s chaotic heat.
- Bat – Seen fluttering near high, dark heat vents. May swarm when disturbed.
Conclusion
The Lavaforge Realm is a furnace of destruction—a shattered forge-city where fire, magic, and machinery collided in catastrophic ruin. Those who brave its molten halls can expect epic boss battles, volatile traps, and the purest form of danger on Eternity.
Bring heat protection. Bring backup. And don’t stop moving. In Lavaforge, standing still is how you melt.
