The Game
The players start the game in a staging area know as the Outpost. This is where the players choose their weapons, craft potions and select the game style they wish to play.
There are three main game-play modes: Dungeon Raid (a heavy loot/heavy combat mission), Crystal Hunt (providing buffs in the form of EXO Points) and Soul Harvest (suppling technology to craft certain potions).
SUGGESTION: If you're just starting out , dig into the Dungeon Raids first, when you get to level 10, think about this other missions.
Dungeons & Realms
Dungeons exist in one of many Realms.
Enemy Fauna
Enemies on planet Eternity come in many classes, shapes and sizes.
There are Critters, Monsters, and Elite Bosses.
-
Critters are biom dependant. Sandscapes sport scorpions and flying bugs. In colder areas you'll find bats and the vile sludge has evolved its own scum-crawlers.
-
Monsters come in various sizes, from large to ... damn... Color provides a hint as to their elemental nature.
-
Bosses are elite creates that take more effort and sometimes many attempts to vanquish
Weapons
-
Axes are reliable melee weapons and can be thrown at hostiles making it a great mid-range weapon.
-
Bows are great range weapons and are effective on all hostile types. Arrows are unlimited.
-
Crossbows are great one-handed range weapons. To load a bolt, use your off-hand and pull back on the string.
-
Daggers are useful in close-quarters. They can be thrown at high velocity and with a quick return.
-
Hard-hitting and more effective on armored hostiles: Hammers can be thrown but distance is limited.
-
Shields protect against all hostile attacks and projectiles. A quick shove forward will perform a knock-back attack
-
Magic Staffs come in a variety of different types, each with unique abilities. Power Gems are required to use magic. Once depleted, insert another gem to continue using.
-
Swords come in a variety of blade lengths making them great melee weapons
Potions Items
-
Large Health Potion. Restores health 100%. Can be smashed on the grown to heal all players in range.
-
Small Health Potion. Restores 25% health. Can not be shared by smashing on ground.
-
Bomb Potion. Explodes in a small area.
-
Haste Potion. Increases movement speed and jump height.
-
Ice Potion. Freezes in a small area.
-
Resurrection Potion. Revive a downed ally.
-
Quad Damage Potion. Multiplies damage by four.
-
Invisibility Potion. Prevents enemies from attacking.
Other Inventory Items
-
Key used to open doors and chests
-
Power gem used to charge magic staves.
-
Skeleton key used to unlock passage to the end rooms of the dungeon.
Rewards
Rewards drop from chests. Chests are grouped into three different *tiers*, conventionally known as Tier I, Tier II and Tier III.
-
Tier I chests have 75 coins and a cosmetic or 100 coins.
-
Tier II Chests have at least 100 coins, a potion and either a cosmetic or a weapon
-
Tier III Chests are the ultimate for loot takers, with 200 coins, a potion, a cosmetic AND a weapon.
