Deep within the flooded and decaying tunnels of Planet Eternity, the Sewer Tentacle lurks as a deadly appendage of a monstrous, unseen entity. These grotesque, muscular limbs slither through the stagnant waters and broken pipelines, striking at intruders with alarming speed and force.

The true form of the creature to which these tentacles belong remains a mystery, as no explorer has ever survived long enough to report its full appearance. Some theorists speculate that it may be an enormous, ancient cephalopod-like beast that has adapted to the planet’s abandoned waterways, using its severed yet still-living limbs as autonomous predators. Others believe the tentacles themselves are independent organisms, capable of regenerating from lost segments and operating with a hive-mind intelligence.

Despite their slimy, writhing exterior, Sewer Tentacles possess a sinister offensive capability. The tips of their arms contain organic incendiary glands that can conjure and hurl fireballs at unsuspecting prey, a remarkable adaptation for a creature that otherwise thrives in damp environments. In close quarters, their sheer strength allows them to deliver devastating whip-slap attacks, sending foes flying and breaking bones with ease.

Sightings of Sewer Tentacles are often accompanied by unsettling disturbances in the surrounding water—ripples that move against the current, faint echoes of unnatural suction sounds, and, at times, the ominous glow of smoldering embers forming at the tentacle’s tip. Travelers navigating Eternity’s underground waterways should proceed with extreme caution, as encountering just one Sewer Tentacle could mean that others—and something much larger—are lurking just below the surface.

Sewer tentacles do not show up in Tier 1 Dungeons.
