Mimics are [[Monsters]] disguised as chests.

There are mimics in the form of [[Tier 2 Chests]], named a [[Tier 2 Mimic]] and mimics in the form of [[Tier 3 Chests]], named a [[Tier 3 Mimic]].  Currently there is no "Tier 1 Mimic".

There is about a 1 in 10 chance of finding a mimic for a given tier level and parties will only ever find at most one mimic of a given tier in a single dungeon. That is, it is possible to find a [[Tier 2 Mimic]] and a [[Tier 3 Mimic]] in the same dungeon but never two [[Tier 2 Mimic|Tier 2 Mimics]] or two [[Tier 3 Mimic|Tier 3 Mimics]].

When replaying saved dungeons, mimics do seem to show up in the same chamber often (all though not always)

When mimics are seen in dungeon [[Difficulty Tiers]] 1 and 2, they can not reduce a players health below 9%
